I know! The title says December; it took me so long to get this bag and then I had to schedule it in between some of my other posts.
I think December is the worst time to try and get mail. It’s the holiday season and people are getting mail from all over the world. I feel for the post office. Having to deal with a surge of mail during the holidays can be a nightmare.
I received my November bag around the 25th of November. To expect the same delivery date from the December bag was crazy. But there I was like this little kid running to check the post every single day from the 20th. I didn’t actually receive the bag until the 25th of January 2017.
So what’s included in the bag?
Chapstick Total Hydration Lip Scrub
This is not available in Australia – at least I haven’t seen it here. It smells of peppermint and scrubs dead skin away easily. It’s a combination of creamy and grainy and doesn’t feel too abrasive to use.
(Ingredients: sucrose, carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil, capryloyl glycerin/sebacic acid copolymer, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, beeswax, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed wax, mentha piperita (peppermint) oil, tocopherol, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, passiflora edulis seed oil (maracuja), glycine soja (soybean) oil, citric acid)
Crazy Rumours Hibiskiss Lip Balm in Breeze
This is a tinted lip balm and it tastes incredible! Mr Lubz has already claimed it before I could even blink. According to the Crazy Rumours website, the lip balms contain 100% natural and vegan ingredients.
(Ingredients: 100% Natural & Vegan Ingredients : Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil,*Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil,*Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Non GMO Glycine Soja (Soybean) Wax, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil,*Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax,*Aroma (Natural Flavors), Tocopherol (Vit E), Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide & Eupatorium Rebaudianum Bertoni (Stevia) *Denotes Organic)
City Colour Lip Gloss with Argan Oil in Prom Queen
This is a lip gloss infused with Argan Oil. I’m not a big fan of gloss, so I will be giving this away to a friend.
(Ingredients: Polybutene, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Petrolatum, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Butylene Glycol, Isostearyl Isostearate, Hydrogenated Microcrystalline Wax (Hydrogenated Microcrystalline Cera), Ozokerite, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Flavor (Aroma), Ethylhexylglycerin, BHT, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).)
Cougar Lipstick in Sangria
I did an online search to find this range and all I could see was a link from a Pinterest Account to the Cougar Beauty website. It can be a bit worrying if the Pinterest account that pinned this image ranks much higher on Google than the main website. The company website describes Sangria as a “dark, mysterious red colour”. The lipstick in itself is moisturising and feels comfortable to wear. It doesn’t last long though and you need to reapply throughout the day. I tried to find an ingredient list, but couldn’t find one online.
I was a bit disappointed by the December Bag – possibly because it didn’t arrive on time and also the contents. I loved the lip scrub and the lip balm; I will not see the latter because Mr Lubz has already laid claim to it. If I had an affinity to lip gloss, I would probably be singing another tune.
If you liked the contents of the bag, you can subscribe to Lip Monthly using this link and get 50% off your first bag.
Spoiler Alert: The January Bag is even better and I am already obsessed by one of the products from the bag.
What are your thoughts on the December bag?
